Field Adjuster

We are actively seeking Field Adjusters to join our team in various locations.  Join us in playing a crucial role within our organization, where you’ll be responsible for investigating, analyzing and assessing the scope of liability in property and casualty claims for DL Dravis & Associates, Inc. clients.

Essential Tasks:

  • Contact claimants for relevant information concerning their claims and accurately evaluate and process claims in accordance with the policies and processes of the client and consistent with the coverage parameters of the policy.
  • Impute data and information collected from the claimant into appropriate adjusting software program; carry out evaluation of claim submission to determine if the claimant is eligible, by applying a variety of methods and processes and by comparing the claim to the benefits of the policy.
  • Relate to the insurance client staff, agencies, and policyholders, to answer questions or provide information via email, phone, text, etc; work closely and effectively with all stakeholders to ensure proper workflow and equitable resolution.
  • Finalize claims as quickly as possible by completing research and / or requesting further information from providers, policyholders and other parties related to the claim; work to achieve the resolution of the claim within the parameters of the client’s quality and time standards.
  • Provide proper documentation and storage of all informational aspects of the resolution of the claim; prepare and present required and requested reports to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.

Specialized Knowledge or Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience handling 1st and 3rd party multi-line claims across our operating territory.
  • Demonstrated experience handling moderately complex claims.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of policies and endorsements related to property and casualty coverages.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of each phase of the claim handling process.

Education and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • State specific property and casualty claims licensing as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel required within the designated territory.  Occasional travel as needed for CE, meetings, etc.
  • May require the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • May require the ability to lift and carry equipment in and out of vehicle.
  • May require the ability to crouch and stoop to inspect confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • May require the ability to climb a ladder and traverse roofs including the ability to inspect roofs and attics from heights.

Field Auto Appraiser

We are actively seeking Field Auto Appraisers to join our team in various locations.  Join us in playing a crucial role within our organization, where you’ll be responsible for investigating, appraising, and resolving auto and heavy equipment claims for DL Dravis & Associates, Inc. clients.

Essential Tasks:

  • Contact claimants for relevant information concerning their claims and accurately evaluate, appraise and process claims in accordance with the policies and processes of the client and consistent with the coverage parameters of the policy.
  • Impute data and information collected from the claimant into appropriate appraisal software program; support the proper submission of the claim to determine if the claimant is eligible, by applying a variety of methods and processes and by comparing the claim to the benefits of the policy.
  • Relate to the insurance client staff, agencies, and policyholders, to answer questions or provide information via email, phone, text, etc; work closely and effectively with all stakeholders to ensure proper workflow and equitable resolution.

Specialized Knowledge or Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience preparing written vehicle appraisals.
  • Experience with heavy trucks, specialty and farm equipment, motorcycles, trailers, campers, and boats highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in CCC One Estimating Platform.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of auto repair techniques and methods.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of each phase of the claim handling process.

Education and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • State specific appraiser licensing as required.
